“Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.” -John Wooden

Chris Hoose, the 2018 Technology Marketing Toolkit Spokesperson, has been an entrepreneur his entire life. From humble beginnings selling greeting cards from the back of a comic book aged 10 to purchasing a Tropical Sno franchise at age 16 to founding Choose Networks at age 30, he has spent his professional career in Information Technology. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Information Systems—both from Friends University.

As CEO of Choose Networks for more than 18 years, Chris discovered his purpose: helping others live impactful lives through listening, encouraging, and sharing his experiences and providing end-to-end IT support for small and medium businesses in the Wichita area. Through networking with peers, Chris met the other founders of Iconic IT. For more than four years, they shared best practices and supported each other to drive their businesses forward. He has helped build true friendships among the other principals—along with the business venture—and has led the efforts to share resources, marketing campaigns, and other aspects of the business into economies of scale.

The “father” of Choose Networks, Chris is a visionary and cheerleader for culture, which makes him perfect for the Vice President of Communications role in Iconic IT. Chris’s motto is “If you keep moving forward, things just have a way of working out for the best.” Chris embodies Iconic IT’s “better together” and looks forward to being a champion for integration. He is motivated by the unsurpassed talent of the combined teams and is looking forward to building out marketing and communications.

Chris grew up in Kansas with small-town roots. He now resides in Wichita, Kansas with his wife Paula. He is an amateur golfer and the father of four children.
