Nicklas earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University in 2003, and two years later helped Chris Hoose launch Choose Networks—as employee #3. Starting out as lead technician, he moved up the ranks to Technical Services Manager and then to Chief Operations Officer, responsible for service delivery design.

As General Manager of the Iconic IT Wichita office, Nicklas is responsible for all aspects of operations including geographical responsibilities for all aspects of sales, marketing, and operations. He oversees all daily operations, coordinating sales and marketing efforts for Wichita, including hiring, recruiting, continuing to build and innovate processes as well as financials for that geographical location.

In addition to his role as GM, he’s also responsible for working with Tony Miller, the VP of operations; together, they are building out the corporate structure for Iconic IT. Further, he coordinates the service managers from all four previous organizations to determine how best to combine them all. Their joint goal is to determine what works best at each location, bring them together to define new best practices to create the best possible service delivery model.

When he started at Choose Networks, Nicklas felt he had a blank canvas for structuring service delivery and continued adding to the picture over his 14 years there. He is looking forward to starting with another blank canvas with Iconic IT with a new creation process, learning how best to position everyone for their version of success, and leveraging all resources to provide fantastic customer experiences.
