Iconic IT Celebrates Two Years as a Merged National Company

BEDFORD, TX, July 1, 2021—In two years, Iconic IT has merged seven managed service provider companies across five markets and brought 170 employees aboard, all while seamlessly delivering IT management for more than 500 customer companies. So, while the nation celebrates its founding, Iconic IT is having a founder’s celebration of its own, with a week of employee celebrations at its locations in Denver, Colo.; Dallas and Bedford, Tex.; Bonita Springs, Fla.; Wichita, Ks.; and Rochester, N.Y.
Growing Better Together, CEO Says
“It’s been an amazing journey these last couple years, and one that’s demanded a lot of hard work,” said Mike Fowler, CEO of Iconic IT. “But it’s all been worth it. By bringing all these managed service companies together under one corporate umbrella, we’ve been able to offer a service delivery structure that other companies can only dream of. Now, our customers have the best of both worlds—the high-touch, personal service you get from a hometown MSP, with the power of having more than 120 technicians available nationwide. We’ve truly been better together,” he added.
Iconic IT still specializes in working with small and medium sized businesses—but now the merged company has the resources to offer enterprise-level service scaled right for smaller customers. Fowler pointed to its 24/7 security operations center (SOC) as a prime example, a service that continuously monitors a customer’s network security around the clock. It’s all part of the company’s continuous drive to make the company’s customer service localized, efficient and personable in an industry that’s hardly known for being warm and fuzzy, he said.
Fowler points to many accomplishments over the last two years, not the least of which is the incredible efforts it took to merge the human resources processes, service reporting structures, marketing and sales ops, and management cultures of the companies.
“Our employee buy in is really one of the biggest successes we’ve seen over the last two years. And it’s amazing, when you consider what we were trying to accomplish,” Fowler said. “We were basically changing the tires while the car was moving—introducing all new processes while simultaneously migrating our client companies to work from home during the pandemic. The silver lining is the disaster-proofing and modernizing of our business, and we’ve been busy helping our clients do the same,” he added.
Iconic IT Looks to the Future
With new standardized product packages coming out every day, Fowler said he is excited for the potential the future holds. “We have a plan to double the size of the company in the next two years through acquisitions and organic growth. And with the team we now have in place, and the systems we have supporting them, we’re very well positioned to meet that goal.”
Fowler noted that there’s always work to do, and this year the company will be working on refining its processes, by encouraging more employee technical certifications, bringing on new products and services for customers, executing new employee engagement initiatives, and finding new, and ever more creative ways to deliver on the company’s brand promise which is to provide efficient and personable experiences.
“We’ve got a challenging, exciting road ahead,” Fowler said. “But I am surrounded by a great team and look forward to the journey together.”
